Mushrooms!

I took a visit to one of lfs's today not planning on spending any money. Well that never happens. I was looking at corals, dreaming because Ive only got a stand two bulb florescent, adn one of the workers who always helps me out comes over and asks whats up. we get to talking and he tells me that mushrooms can live under standard florescent lighting.

So he sold me two mushrooms for 6 dollars.

i figured whats the worst that could happen right?

Well we will find out how they do haha.

the worse that can happen is they die, you lose money, another living creature died, and the store made profit...


and depending on where yo uplace the mushrooms, and what kind / color they are, you might be okay, but it really isnt a good practice to keep on trying.. put that $6 towrds a different light...

you can get there quicker that way... and less painfully...

Well he said if they don't start to thrive hed gladly take them back, i have no plans on killing anything.

As for lighting im waiting for fishneedit.com to come out with their four bulb models, if they ever do.
