hey Cesar,
welcome to the lil ocean community, just got to tell you that these ppl are great. there always checking ur progress. l was looking for answers to a lot of questions on how to start my own SW tank and happened to come across Bill on line and he invited me here. Since then Bill and most of the other members have guided me every step of the way. there hasn't been a question yet which they couldn't answer. I'm happy to say that my tank is progressing fine. thanks to this community. So take advantage of all their knowledge, they wont steer you wrong. A very friendly group of ppl imo

Yes me and Bill go back to NR days. Then we went to this SCNRS place and basically everything went downhill from there on, lol. I've been around since 2002? I think, lol. But still trying to get into the good habits I had when I had my 20g tank.  :-[

WOW. I actually like this site better than others now, lol. This site is friendly to my BlackBerry. Other sites look liker $hit. But this site is actually very clear and I don't have to maximize the page and get cut off from the actual site. Awesome Bill! Only thing for some reason I can't see pictures but no big deal. I posted a thread of my tank and posted a picture of my 20 gallon tank but I can't see it. But I'm liking this site more and more.

I did install a mod for cell phones but know it still has some issues with the iphone...

I think there might be an issue with blackberry and pictures... i think it might have something to do with flash technology or something??? not real sure on that...

Can you see any pictures??? some pictures are posted from photobucket and some are uploaded directly....

I will post two pics, one from photobucket and one direct, let me know if you can see either of them


here is a pic of those mini brittle starfish that i was giving away...




The next picture is of the zoanthids that grew all over the bottom of the tank




not bad for a $35 camera


When i hear folks comlain about thier camera, and other folks telling them they need dslr, i have to crack a big smile...

ITs all about what you know how to do, and also knowing that even though my pics appear ok, they really arent... so it is a matter of what you want...

Mypics, no matter how good they can appear, really arent.. they arent photoshpped, MUCH.. just a little 'auto adjust'.. if i auto adjust and it tries to do too much i give up..

but, if it just make a little correction, without changing colors from what they look like in real life, then I am happy,.]


and trust me... that pic of the zoanthids, are exactly the color and brilliance of the real things...

No Bill I can't see any picture. I have the BlackBerry Storm and I wonder if this has something to do with it. This also happens in SCNRS (sorry didn't mean to bring that) lol. But before it would look somewhat like this on my Curve BlackBerry. But when I got the Storm then all went upside down. But this site is the only one that looks good on my phone. Only issue is pictures. But no big deal. I'll see those on my home computer. But if you could fix the issue then it would be sweet, lol.

when you are trying to view pics on the blackberry, what does it show?? a box, or an X or something?? if so, can you 'click' on it or right click on it?  does it give you any 'message' or comments??

I will browse the forum for the forum?!?!  does that make sense???

there is a forum of guys that do 'forums', just like there is a reef forum ...

anyways, I will look up the blackberry compatibility issues there... Please give me a little bit if time to look it up though.. but i promise i will get to it eventually


also, i dont care if you or anyone else mentions scnrs or REEFNAZIWANNABE/reefdiscussion/ or even REEFNAZI.. they are all a bunch of pukes that value $$$ over sincerity...

those that know of the issues involving me, and still choose to patronize those sites, WHILE ignoring me and this site, show their colors to me every day...

I find it funny when we bump into other reefers, (the ones that ignore this site), and they pretend like we are good buddies, and btw, got and free corals I want to get rid of???

anyways... Im glad your here now... I guess i owe Blackberry some type of referral fee

No Bill. You can't see anything. It would say something like "Here's a picture of my tank" and then just blank space. Then the rest of the posting.
