oh, sorry, we just playin semantics...

My point is that there is no right answer, or right anything.. it is what you like... and hte only way for you to like something is for you to see it on your system...

I suggest getting used bulbs for cheap for folks that are buying replacements...

they wont be the exact same color as a new bulb but it will give you a great way to find out the right bulb for your tastes...

This is the beauty of t5 bulbs as metal halide are really expensive to try different colors...

i'm just messin' w/Bill...we're good friends, so we can do that stuff with no worries.

to be honest, i'm new to T-5's myself, so i can't give you an exact tube to use, but they're on my 100 gal volitans/Rhinopias system, and to be honest, i only use half the lamps on it because it's PLENTY bright for them.  we're just using the stock tubes ATM (10k and some kind of actinic), and i haven't played with any diff't combos yet.

We've been house hunting/renovating/moving for the past few weeks, so our "presence" online has been spotty at best.  We just have the tanx to move now, for the most part, so hopefully, I won't get poked by a scorp!

did the realator for the old house work with you all, or are they upset??? (I doubt they are upset... i would bet money that no one ever moves out 'on time'...  just no reason to..

I am sorry that it didnt quite work out on the time frame Renee was hopin for,  Was Renee o with the change and extension or was she stressin even harder???....  and i really was just trying to come up with a 'realistic' schedule and a possible back up/contingent plan....

getting poked doesnt sound fun at all!  I saw on your other post some pics awhile ago of where you will have the tank.  Cant wait to see it finished Im sure you cant wait even more ;)  hehe
