i don't remember what thread it was that we were discussing how to acclimate critters, but since we just received a fish from DD. i thought this might illustrate the reason i recommend matching temp, opening the bag, and adding the fish immediately.

these are the NH3 readings of the target tank (left) and the shipping water (right) a few minutes after the bag was opened:



what are YOUR fish swimming in?
