My acrylic tank tear down
« on: January 30, 2010, 02:39:00 PM »
Well,  it is time for the AA tank to go bye bye

Im not sure i will sell it right now.. actually Lanny was thinking about getting it, but if he dont take it, I will prolly keep it or store it... who knows, I might not be able to keep or setup my 65cube if I end up renting and they dont allow it...  (that will kill me)  but at least i will have a 15g for back up...

Anyways, I have given away all the corals now, (still have some extra that i am storing in my DT for now, and anxiously waiting for someone with an established / mature tank so, I can give these to them...)

I will make a list with pics soon, PROMISE...

I moved that black goby to my DT, prolly never to be seen again.. hehehehe  (way too many hiding spots for him)

There is a possiblity of him nipping at the corals, and if that happens, he wont make the next move...

They also lay thier eggs on the bottom of the Acropora(sp) but since i only have one, Im thinking taht wont be a problem...???

Anyways,  today, I will drain the tank, and do a rough cleaning... then maybe soak tonight for final clean tomorrow...

If someone is REALLY interested in the tank/setup, let me know..  like i said, Lanny has first shot at the tank, and if someone else really wants it, then I will consider it..

needless to say, this pretty much means, that the price is not that great of a bargain right now... hehehehehe

Its always good to have a small tank. I can't take my 29g to college but I can take my 14g.

id be interested in the 9002, lmk what you'd like for it.. its right on the edge of capacity for the new tank but with the other old berlin airstone skimmer i think it would be sufficient until i can afford a bigger skimmer.

I am still way down to buy the tank/lights/peltier device from you if you decide not to hang on to it. My girlfriend's grant for her biophysics research at USC medical center has just come through, so I won't have to pay for everything now! Hooray! I won't be so damn poor and I can get down on a sweet little frag tank. I have been ultra busy but I will try and come by soon to give your tupperware back and drop off that Jalli refugium light for you.
There is something fishy going on here...
