well, since releasing this little bastard back into my sump without knowing what it was (thinking i could find it easily) it disappeared. Last week i did some stuff and shut down the flow and then when i turned things back on i found bits of something on a powerhead and a snail with something attacking it hanging from the power head. Well, it made its way up from the sump and in through the sqwd and got shredded and spit out the return. I pulled the PH and cleaned it off and got the snail with a piece of the FW hanging on it. No bueno. I was moving a zoa colony last night and had turned it over to look for bristle worms and saw something thin moving on the plug. I pulled the plug out and threw it in a cup and added some reef dip to see if i could flus it out. After 10 min with the turkey baster it finally dislodged and found a 1/2 flatworm of the same type in there. well, i decided to make sure it wasnt going to survive anything and added a whole bunch of dip to the water where the fw essentially turned itself inside out and turned to mush :) small victories.

After i get a chance to dose the whole tank with FW exit which wont be for a while since i dont taking the chance and killing off the bhergias that i spent 35 bucks on until my appy problem is taken care of i wont be adding anymore clams. :( I like clams too..

those flatworms LOVE CLAMS

And i am not sure you dont have more then one or more of those FW

I really want clams, but having lost three already, and having issues with both FW and pyramid snails, i think i might have to forget about them for a bit...

I will keep my fingers crossed for  you...
