yea, lots of things wrong with wantin an anem right now.. but it is okay to dream and put it on your wish list

as for the dawn to dusk thing,, basically you want a fixture that has multiple bulbs/switchs so you can put different colors in diffedrent sockets and turn them on and off to simulate gradulat light to more powerful light then reverse

I've read somewhere that your clown may not even bond with the anemone. The have a chance of building their home on a piece of live rock just an anemone.plus the ones that usually host anemones are more expensive than the ones that don't...I think

pics didnt work

gotta browse to each picture, then when you have browsed to al the pics, then click on PROCESS

then after that is done, then click on POST

You can try with just one picture at a time

If you havent tried Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket  you should

Basically you upload pictures to that hosting service, (it's free)

then after you uplad the picture, yuo can uplod those pics to different websites/emais/forum, etc... and the only things being 'uploaded' is a link...

IT is a bit more secure, but more importantly, when you change that picure, all the picures you ever posted from that LINK will be changed...

And it is easier and better for the bandwith issues for forums.. since the picture wont be saved on my forum.. it would only be saved on photobucket.com

You are going to have some poor luck with an anemone in a 10g. Even if you managed to keep it alive, it will completely dominate the tank...they can swell to about a million times their size when they want to.
There is something fishy going on here...

actually, there was a guy on another forum that had a smaller tank, (I want to say 10, but it could have been a 20) but, it was a species tank..

ALL ANEMONE ALL THE TIME

He was cleaning up the tank once, and I think he said he sold 5-6 of them, and he still had a pile left)

They were all RBTA... for whatever reason, I can not keep my rbta as a B

My rbta always turns into a rlta

And actually, my rbta, (rlta), was showing some signs of wanting to grow bubbles...  but, oh well, the bubbles went away, and they are just long tipps again

RBTA = Rose Bubble Tipped Anemone

RLTA = Rose Long-Tentacled Anemone

speaking of 'nems...i saw some super sweet specimens over at Reef Hot Spot yesterday.  i had never been there, so we popped by OTW back from lunch.  nice guys, killer frags.  their chalice frag stock was off the frickin' hook...and they had a BLUE T. squamosa, and i'm talking BLUE.

i came home with a couple of cool macros, a couple of "different" pipe organ frags and a nice daisy polyp frag to mess with in the 100 gal.
