we actually get them from all over...we've gotten some from DD, but most have come from various LFS in LA and OC.  we did a "will call" at Blue Zoo for the new frondosa.

nope..."pank"...it changes color regularly.  sometimes it's super red, sometimes orange, sometimes "pank"...

these fish are pretty clumsy, for sure.  they typically only swim a short distance as a last resort in fleeing, but quickly settle back and make like a rock, or in the case of these specimens, like a pile of of orange/pink sponges.

Active buggers they are. I remember showing my cousin the frog fish and she said thats a weird looking thing and I said its on its evolutionary path or something, She said, Evolutionary path to a rock!

these fish are actually about as sedentary as they come...all you normally see of them are their eyes sticking out of the substrate.
