we aren't planning on telling the volitans that it's a "coverfish" because it will probably want silverside bon-bons or something...

actually, there's a pic of the larger of our brasiliensis on the back cover, and a good two dozen of Renee's pix of our crew in the book as well.

this book is actually a great primer on lions and scorps by the person we consider to be the scorp guru.

it should be out in the first part of June.

thanx...i'm quite proud of her (as you can tell).

Renee was also mentioned in the acknowledgements (before Bob Fenner, even).  Frank loves her pix, so it worked out nicely.  he has a couple of articles coming out, and has asked her about pix for them, so we'll see how that goes.

this is indeed huge for her as a photographer.  her pix and name are getting "out there" beyond the forums now.  she gets requests for "sized images" for peeps' wallpaper, which she happily does, but seeing the pix "in print" is pretty cool.

she's currently prettying up a scorp care article for our site, so that will be in the Library soon.  the text is done, but i need to add the Bibliography and additional reading section to the back end of it.

if i recall correctly, she was doing a picture or something for me some time ago.. not sure what happened to that project... obviously it is not something i am/was expecting, but, would value something someday, especially if she is going to be famous... hehehehehe

i know she spent a lot of time and work on something, and she kept, hinting at something, but never said anything specific or particular enough for me to 'suppose' / assume she was giviing me anything...

I bring it up once in a while as a hint to let her know that i would be honored to have ANYTHING...

although from what she kinda said, she had something special in mind...???
