Hehehe, i was bored and havent spent money in a few weeks so figured, what the helll...
First off, i b ought the light sensor attachment for my Korallia adjustable/controllable powerheads...
It as more expensive then it should be, but whatever... now, the wave cycle will slow down considerable when lights go off.... i have been playin with it and calibrating it and trying to figure it out, and think i got it now... very cool
next toy... i downsized in heaters... i had the glass Hydor THEO 400 watt heater....
I wanted the power of the 400 when i got it, but it really doesnt need to be that big and would cause problems ... either from being too big or from being glass... with a small sump and lots of stuff in there, it is a good or better chance of damaging the glass... now it is titanium...
I relocated it to the overflow...
so, if the pwer goes out or the pump goes down, then it will only affect the overflow...
not really a good place to place it for wherever you do, if thet will be a [problem somewhere for some reason.. this way, the only risk is if the tank gets too cold, (unlikely in california), or the heater stays on and cooks the overflow only...
I also bought a REALY GOOD, (read that as expensive) check valve for the calcium reactor.... maybe now that i have the last part of that puzzle, i will put in together and hook it up finally????
i also bought a bunch of co2 tubing and some plastic hose clamps.... and a section of corregated/flexible tubing for the return pump...
not sure why i got it, but it looks cool... and no, it isnt corrugatred on teh inside, and yes it is very flexible... without kinking...
i also relocated some wiring and the aquacontroller, to hopefully clean it up a little an dkeep the saltwater from splashing onto the AC3...
