so i found someone giving away a yellow watchman goby that was paired with a pistol shrimp. Only catch was that you had to take a black and white striped damsel with it. I've wanted one for some time so i said screw it and took all three. I have relegated the damsel to sump monkey status. Lanny is going to stock it in a clients tank or something or other. If he were smaller id have put him in the display and let the leaf fish hunt him down, but he's pretty big so i dont think that would have worked.

Hopefully the watchman will do his job and keep the shrimp safe from the leaf fish :)

i like them, but hopoefully you will be able to keep track better then i did... i endded up losing them, physically then probably in real life too

I would take the Damsel, my mum loves those, that and the yellow tail damsel. My tanks to small though

we all like pics, so here you go, not the best since the watchman does a good job of alerting the shrimp. Every time i would move the goby would retreat and the shrimp would follow suit.

the shrimp has a load of sand on his pincers which he uses like a shovel.. pretty neat..

Well poo poo.. :( I was feeding the nems and some of the other lps bits of squid, I opened the canopy and there laying all dried out was the anthias.. Man, this really bums me out because I really liked that fish. That fish had tons of personality.. Goddam crossbrace.. :(

yea, i had two.. the other bailed right after the move into the cube...

This one didnt show any signs of jumping, and was visible all the time... but again, i didnt watch him all the time either...

so, sorry it happened and no worries.. it isnt the first or last fish i 'know' that didnt make it...

Im grateful you were able to try and give him a new home... oh well...
