New toy
« on: June 20, 2010, 11:25:53 AM »
Let me first start this off by saying it has gotten boring as hell around here...

Continuing, Jake and I are going today to pick up/start picking up a tank for a friend of mine. 36w*20h*18w starphire glass, with ati powermodule 6x39w T5 fixture and everything but skimmer for $600. That is called a steal, folks.

I believe this picture is rather outdated, but really I have no idea. The livestock list has a bunch of stuff listed that isn't in this shot.

It has some bitchin' stuff in it, including that 6"+ squamosa on the right. I will keep you guys apprised of the move, as well as the fragging that I assume Jake and I are both going to have to do. There are a few choice pieces he is keeping, but hopefully we can convince him to hook it up with frags of them. I am throwing in a frag tank for free so he can hold them, so hopefully he hooks it up.
There is something fishy going on here...

It's carson's tank bill, he decided to shut most of it down while he's renovating and only keeping a few key pieces in the frag tank.

thought that clam looked familiar... I think he got that from miguel at graggle reef, (when he owned it...

but yea, good deal...I really love clams. I wish i could keep them... but now i am just too scared to try again...

have fun guys....

and yea, this place is dead...  It is prolly due to my over bearing  and whginning attitude... that or not enough references to this site on other forums...

socalireefs grew in a month cause folks were pimpin the hell out of it on REEFNAZI and every other forum... that went on for about two months, and by then it had sufficient membership to keep it busy enough to grow on its own... well that plus there was drama at the biginning that folks couldnt turn their computers off hehehehehe

yeah, the rust colored pac man ghosts. Red Planaria. They don't hurt anything, but grow to plague proportions and are a PITA to eradicate.

Also, giant Maxima is looking happy. I was worried.

dood...it's dead everywhere on the forums.  remember, this is a busy time for those of us with kids...end of school stuff, graduations, end of little league baseball season, you name it.

personally, i've been spending most of my time jumping thru the hoops of getting our escrow closed.  Renee has been packing like a fiend, and we now live in a sea of boxes.  we'll be needing to paint and do a few things in the house, including having a couple of custom tanx built for some very specific areas.  THEN, we'll be setting them up to cycle while we slowly move some of our established systems over.
