i know you are extremely busy...

but i have no idea what it is like on other forums except the little bit of spying i do on REEFNAZI and and my other favorite target, and they arent that slwo...

but, i do see folks here post stuff on REEFNAZI that isnt posted here... and although i know they may not get the response or reply here that they might on other forums, they could post here too, incase there are lurkers???

it is a little cut and paste operation....

and whether or not there are lurkers, I am here... i cant post on the other forums so when i see folks here post there, and not here, i guess they are asking everyone else except me....

i dont take it too personally, as i donthave expectations, i only have wants and goals... if i get them, great, if i dont, i will keep trying...

I rarely post on REEFNAZI, and I have never explored outside the SC forum, where no one seems to have any clue what they are talking about. It is an exercise in foolish anecdotal observations. I really only go on to look at the "For Sale" stuff.

So, I was eyeballing the 125g today and I saw that there are colonies of coralline cropping up all over the place. This tank is blowing me away. It literally had no cycle, even though I put in all new sand and a considerable amount at that. Every coral in it right now is happy, even the acros I am storing in there. I would have never thought that it would support them so soon after setup. Hell, I haven't even got the lights dialed in yet. I need reflectors and all new bulbs.

LOL.. it must have been the because it was "live sand".. yeah right..

You had a huge amount of really mature rock in there at first which sucked up the waste products of any sort of cycle that may have happened.

Also, today is the day. Jake and I are moving the awesome tank to my friend's house, and I get to come home and hook up the Tunze Nano wave-box to my 30g. My friend is hooking up an Apex Neptune to her system and I will pick her up some Koralias or Vortechs (less likely cause I can't afford them) so she won't really need it. Jake was eyeballing it, but he's getting Koralia 3 Evolutions to run with his ReefKeeper so he will have the waves covered soon. Me, I can't afford, nor handle the complexity of a controller, so a little standalone box would be where it's at.

Anyone need a culture of some nice red and white brittle stars, about the size of a quarter full grown? This tank we picked up had THOUSANDS.
