each of our setups is a learning experience...we try things, sometimes they work well, and will be carried over to successive setups, sometimes things that "look good on paper" don't do so well in the real world.
good skimmers and chillers are really what we spend our money on the most. FOWLR doesn't really need to be more than efficient (as Bill mentioned) and nice-looking.
as far as the RKE, i think Renee got such a bad taste in her mouth from DA's lack of support and sh*tty attitude, that if we ever go the computerized tank route, it will be an Apex. i dunno what she plans to do with $800 worth of RKE, but i bet she'd sell it cheap...
