hello?

two weeks isnt tthat long of a time and sometimes a good feeding before you leave will do, BUt, there are many otehr things to think about...

where do youlive?

How much water and how often do you usually add to make up for evaproation?  (Top off water?)

What type of equipment do you use?  chiller?, skimmer?,  auto feeders? aut top off?  etc?

what temperature is your tank?  normally???

it really depends on what you're keeping in the tanx.  however, i can tell you that the pipefish will need to be fed one way or another.  what species are you keeping?  are they weaned to frozen?

Hi, welcome.

Do you have a relative or friend you can leave instructions with ?

I recently took 2 wks hol's and measured the dry food into small bags, the frozen in separate trays in the freezer, and a list of what to do and when with our son. Winged it on the testing whilst away, and all was well when we returned.

i live in miami, every week i add 5 gallons, the 100 gal has a 25 gallon sump that has an aquamedic turboflotor 1000 protein skimmer, a coralife turbo twist uv sterilizer rated for 250 gallons, and an aquaclear 110 filter. the tank is 78-79 F.
the 55 gal only has a uv light rated for 70 gallons (idk the name), two aquaclear 70 filters and i keep the temp at 77-78 F.

the pipefish are Doryrhamphus dactyliophorus. and they are not trained to eat frozen.

on the 100 gal there are:
1 pink tail triggerfish, one yellowtail wrasse, one sailfin tang, one purple tang, one yellow tang, one orange shoulder tang, one hippo tang, one niger trigger, two tank raised false perculas, a one spot foxface, a tomini tang, 4 blue green chromis, and a coral beauty. corals i only have a small toadstool, many mushrooms, button polyps (like 55 polyps), and a colony of star polyps. the tank is full of copepods, spaghetti worms, and scuds. 10 blue legged hermits, 7 mexican turbos. all the live rock is full of red purple and green coralline algae. i know it sounds very crowded but all of them live peacefully. they dont do anything to each other no harassment no nothing, and most of the time all of them swim together from one side of the tank to the other its really funny when they do that. plus all the water parameters are within range. ammonia 0 nitrites 0 nitrates lesss than 10 ppm. SG is at 1.022 after i add the 5 gallons of top off water.

on the 55 gal i have two firefish, one yellow watchman goby, the two pipefish, and a blue green chromis. some nerith snails and 5 blue legged hermit crabs. and 3 mexican turbos. same parameters as the 100 gal tank.

you might try some frozen mysis...Hikari or H2O Life (if your pipe is smaller).  at least in the 100 gal, there's a good chance it's finding a decent number pods in the LR.
