Corals
« on: July 17, 2010, 08:59:50 PM »
Hi everyone it's da newbi again.
I was just wondering if I could keep hard corals on a 29 gallon tank with t-5 10000k and blue actinic lights.
I hav the 29 gal that I'm nt using rite now so I was just wondering if it would work as a corals only tank with that kind of lights.
If not then what kind should I use? Btw I can't afford metal halides.
Thanks for y'all input

you can keep some corals, but not others...

some corals need more light..

You dont need metal halide, you can use T5 lights, or leds/ but led's are kinda pricey, but you might think about making them???

i would suggest trying some mushrooms or zoanthingds... and if you have success with those, then try some leathers/softies

NO MORE FISH TANKS FOR BILLY BOY!!!!
