Went to the LFS yesterday to see if they got any in with their sunday bagged fish order (they offer 25% off bagged fish from the wholesaler) No dice..  They had a sharp purple fire fish and a couple of sharp anthias but i wasnt ready to do that.

The boy is harassing me about setting up this nano cube i picked up in his room so we'll see what happens there. Thinking the damsel i have sitting in my sump and maybe a yellow clown goby since the cube wont have any SPS, just softies, maybe a frag or two of some LPS things..

wow, upgrade from sump monkey to nano nene....

hehehehe

i have mixed feelings about his bag sale... i bought twice, once the bugger died almost instantly , or i added it and never saw it again...

the other survived...

and with his systems the way they are sometimes, you just never know... so.. still on the fence on the bag sale...

good way to get snails and cleaners though for cheaper...

NO MORE FISH TANKS FOR BILLY BOY!!!!

They had P. radiata?  What kind of shape were they in?

I come across them a fair amount. Should I be on the hunt? What is a good price, and what should I look for as far as condition? They usually come in between 3-5" IIRC. Let me know. I'll be back at PAF tomorrow. We could meet up or something, or we could go on Sunday. I just found out they are open from about 8-12 sundays and it is awesome.
There is something fishy going on here...

I'll definitely be hitting you up once we get settled and we have fish in their permanent setups...my house looks like an aquarium store blew up ATM...once we get the 210 up, things will be better.

Talked to lanny earlier when he was there and they had an Inimicus didactylus as well as a couple of Ablabys taenianotus I need to set up the 55 gallon in the garage so that i can get the macro/softie farm going and stock it with a couple of nice scorps.. :)

Oooooo...stepping up to the more toxic fish.  Wasps and stingfishes are just a step "down" from stonefish in terms of toxicity (I believe it's only the matter of one chromasome, IIRC).  Not deadly (unless you're allergic), but a LOT more painful than a scorp.

Fortunately, these fish are easily avoided, altho our cockatoo wasp will follow me around looking for a handout while I clean the tank.  It's ridiculously tame, and one of my faves.
