Algae bloom problem
« on: January 13, 2012, 02:33:37 PM »
Hello,

I am having trouble correcting an algae bloom problem.  I have a white cloudy and green algae explosion going on in my tank.  I have set up several tanks and never had a problem to this extent.  I have recently changed to a 14 gallon bio cube from a 55 gallon tank.  I have done the usual corrections to this problem, I believe.  Meaning, I have done water changes, protein skimmed, adjusted lighting conditions, added the usual chemicals, and even done a complete water change. I still can't seem to rid my tank of this problem.  Can any one assist me with this problem?

The smaller the tank, the larger the problem as a rule of thumb; things tend to be more concentrated.....
